I bought the drums for $140 and the snare is rusty but the wrap is in perfect shape. Their wooden drums everything appears to be all original.

Julia, this is a entry level kit. Fix it up and sell it. Don't get rid of any of your other kits, especially the Premiers.

I agree. Clean it up, play it for a bit and then sell it.

I wonder what product is good for cleaning, Armor All? ;)

My dad had some cleaner he uses for the car seats tha said you could use on vinyl, so I used that. They look great! My sister helped me clean the chrome parts. The snare didn't clean up well at all. It's steel. My magnet stuck to it plus it's all rusty. Here are some pictures. I plan I selling it. Gotta pay for drum camps! What is a fair price to ask?

Here is the 12" Tom. I like the little stickers that say Made In Taiwan.

You did a very nice job cleaning those up. Well done indeed. You might be able to get $250-$300 out of those. Others will chime in that are more knowledgable on the financial aspects then I might be. Again, very nicely done. That is a fun way to make a few bucks.

If you paid 140, then ask 325, and let them talk you down to 275 because of the rusty snare and any other defect they may wish to exploit to save a few bucks. That finish may have somewhat of a cult following though, like the Aztec Slingys, the Butcher-block aficionados', and some of the other love-em-or-hate-em finishes out there, so you may need to cast a wide web to find the right guy.
