I love this thing!

only problem is when my drums fell into the ocean it opened up all the seams in the drums (except the snare) so now i need to somehow fix them.

Jordan - As long as the breaks are 'on the seams' it'll be an easy fix for you. Just get the thick Weld-On adhesive and a couple of ratchet straps to clamp the shells in-place while the Weld-On dries. Fill the 'V' shaped channel at the seam to the top with the adhesive, allow a full 24 hours to cure before removing the straps. They'll be much stronger than when they left the factory.

would this be correct? The floor tom is cracked on the seam then it wiggles a little bit from the seam to shell (no spider webbing)

It looks like you're on the right track for cleaning by rinsing everything with fresh water but did you remove your lugs and get inside them too? Salt water is very destructive to metal parts. Luckily you didn't lose a set of wooden drums in the ocean.

I actually did NOT take off the lugs, I only had 1 hour to clean them, but I did remove one of them to check and they looked to be okay.. The drums are in Hawaii now and i am back in Cali, i'll have to pay someone to clean those lugs before its too late!

if i had my 61 ludwigs in the ocean i would have died

Jordon - for seam repair, this is the one you'll need. It's a bit thicker than the Weld-On 1, 2, or 3.

You definitely want to completely strip the kit, rinse, dry and lubricate everything. Take it from someone who has spent a lot of time dealing with boats, a tiny amount of salt water will devestate any non-galvanized or non-stainless steel parts. Even with those metals we would always completely wash them down as often as possible. Drum hardware will quickly be in trouble with salt water as it was never designed for that. You could not have picked a better kit to be dealt that blow however. Clear Vistalite is probably fortuitous to say the least.

Wow, great pics of a sad moment for the hardware. Good thing the shells are plastic. (except for volcanic rock scratches)

It hurts me to see those naked bearing edges sitting on the rough concrete.

Hey, that hawaii water is real rough sometimes. I am glad you were not swept away. Well,...... you would have had your drums close to you.

That would be good.

Thanks for the adventure.
