I wonder if there's toluene in it....does it smell really amazing? :)
Toluene would account for it not being available in Canada...I think.
Awesome kit!

Those look great. Nice job. I think I am going to do a set I have. What was the sealer you used?
Thanks for sharing.

It was the Glitter Blast sealer.
That looks like a DW floor tom. Does the Ludwig rack tom sound good with it? The paint looks great bud!
Mark those look great. That silver really pops. There's some excellent products out there in rattle cans these days.
Awe... with the paint cans at our disposal these days, bean kits have never looked better.Super job and i`m with the pack-silver is killer but love the bean spay choice of colours you made.

I got the kit from a guy in Austin really cheap, it came with the DW floor tom. That's a collectors series floor tom with re-rings, it sounds great with the kit. As you can see in the first picture, this kit needed to be re-wrapped, but I didn't want to sink too much money into a beater kit, so I just decided to paint them. I was initially going to do them all green sparkle, but after doing the rack tom, I wasn't so sure. I decided to do the kick in red and if that looked cooler, I would re-paint the rack, but I wasn't totally happy about that finish either. Well, at this point, I wasn't going to re-paint them, so I decided to do the floor in gold sparkle, giving them a Christmas theme, but of course, they were out of gold sparkle. So, I figured silver sparkle would be the best choice to go with the green and red. After doing the floor, I wished I had done them all in silver sparkle, it really looks cool, almost like it came from the factory that way. I may go ahead and paint the other two in silver sparkle, but not right away, the Ludwig drums were a pain with the old bolt type screws.
