My First Bean Job Last viewed: 4 hours ago

Here's the kit all painted using Glitter Blast, not as sparkly as I had hoped, but I think it looks better than it did before the paint job. If anyone has thoughts of using Glitter Blast, I suggest using the silver sparkle, it seems to have come out the best, I wish I had done them all in that finish. Anyway, here's a before and after.

I put three coats of Glitter Blast on the floor and kick with two coats of clear sealer, the rack tom has two coats of each. I'm not sure why the floor came out the best, I'm guessing it's the color. I may sand down the other two and paint them silver sparkle, but for now, they will remain a jelly bean kit.

What are the brand names of these two products, both the glitter and the sealer? I think they came out great! They glitter brightly under the flash, so I'm sure they'll sparkle nicely under stage lights or sunlight. Nice job. I agree about the silver; without a color tint darkening the glitter, it sparkles much nicer than the red or green. Nice job!

The product is called Glitter Blast by Krylon, I bought mine at Hobby Lobby, but Wal-Mart carries them as well.
