Blair, are there any issues with this set, that a prospective buyer should be aware of? Is this a wrap or a laquer finish? What condition is this set in overall? I am very interested. Can you email any additional pics.? Thanks, Vince.

Hi Vince,

Good to se you on here....

Sorry...drums are no longer FS....

The guy I was dealing with turned out to be a real asshat.....

4 times I asked if any cracks in the Turk K bellhole...as around 30% do....he never answered...

Then,a few days ago...he sent 4 more detailed pics....and I noticed that the snare did not have the arm showing in a pic of the MicroSensitive..

So,I asked him if it was missing or broken off...

His reply?

"This model of strainer never had a throw off lever.....do your homework".......

Ad then said not to contact him again!

I was trying to throw lots of $$$ in his lap...and then treats me like that!

Know what he paid for the whole set/cymbals/stands?

$200!!!

He told me that in first conversation on the phone.....

Thanks...

I emailed around 15 people......

Lots of time involved....

Wait till the next person points out the strainer arm is missing, and he throws them the "no strainer arm" story.....

He is going to look real stupid when he finally finds out he is wrong.....

I was going to give him $4,300 for hardly any work at all on his part....

I was going to give him $4,300 for hardly any work at all on his part....

... and $4,100 in profit. Eye Ball

His actions just cost him big time. Unless he drops his price big time, he'll have a had time selling them to a member of VDF (based on his reputation).

They're still cool.

Wonder how he'd react if he got emailed a few low ball offers telling him, " due to an incomplete throw off on the snare.........?"

Just Kidding

Well...you know what to do now?!

Either sell or give away his phone number and/or email address.

I'll take it and be very polite. I really like that kit.

I can just imagine if I went all the way to get them, and find two-1/8" cracks in the bell hole of the 18" K...just like I told him there might be...

I'll bet he would say...

"Ahhh...you can barely see them...doesn't devalue it 1 iota...price is still firm...$4,500"Lame

Then,I would have to go $200 less to my customer......making almost nothing after gas/bank transfer etc....

What a clown!crying2-07
