Orangemi - Here we go again spreading bad information about factory (1960 to 1969) original natural maple finished RB Gretsch kits being carelessly passed around the internet that has not been fully documented or verified.
IMHO, a unverified quote with no photographs from Steve Maxwell is not good enough. And Steve being in the vintage drum business knows better not to photograph & document all super rare drum kits (and not in his museum)... and I'm 99.9% sure he keeps records of who buys any super rare kit off him so... if you got him to recently send you a quote have him send you the name of who brought this rare natural maple Gretsch RB kit off him and let's (together) track down this rare wild animal once in for all...
