It looks small, but I doubt it's 18", those weren't in vogue back in the day, especially on budget kits. My guess is 20".

I agree. The budget kits were generally a year or so behind the trend. I seem to remember 22" kicks didn't show up until around 1970 in these lines. Also, the 18" kicks were far out of fashion in those days, unless you played hard core jazz. Even with that, I seem to remember most of those guys going with a 20" kick at the time.

I`m comparing the height of the bass drum pedal to the diameter of the kick drum...I would say it`s a 20" as well...

Cheers

18`s are useually X 14" and the opposite lug would be close, the spread looks a little much, I`m going with a 20"

It`s a drum,.....Hit It !!

I'm going with a 20 - based on the last kick to show the difference between the tom and that BD. BTW - that HH stand is worth as much as $100. However, I would say that it priced a bit too high because of the mix/match of the brands - and color, as there is too much fade on the floor.

Of course - it all depends on what pies are sitting atop the HH stand.

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!
