I second everything John (purdie shuffle) said about your playing, it does the driving and the rest of the band can settle in and groove.

Don't know how long you've played with David but I got hooked on the "How late'll ya' play 'till" record which my little brother copped from me and learned to sing and play about 100 Bromberg tunes. That was over 30 yrs ago and he can still do 'em all.

Thanks for the link, it brought back many memories. Last time I caught the big band with David was a few years ago at the Whitaker Center in Harrisburg; were you drumming by chance?
