Naturally sparkley slinkys. Excited

You'll like them a lot. Parts are pretty easy to find and some good hardware deals come around every so often. Keep a eye on the classifieds here and at DFO. Post a WTB ad as well. I have a 68 set and love them!

They are only shells, I need everything! I haven't tried to get the wrap off yet so I'm not sure how i want to finish them, natural or all sparkly.

That's a tough call if you're able to get the wrap off without damaging the outer ply of mahogany. Natural mahogany is beautiful! But a sparkle finish is super cool too! It's a toss-up...your preference. Is the original wrap trashed?

I'm working on a Gretsch kit but I'll use a heat gun & putty knife to get the wrap off and then decide what type of Finnish I'll put on them. I may keep the Slinky's for myself.... I was building the Gretsch kit for me but I may give it to my son... I already gave him my '73 W&A kit.
