A great story! I love "Time Won't Let Me"! Over a decade ago, my band, Reminisce, covered this in the studio. I've still got a copy of the master tape on reel-to-reel! I've since copied it to digital, but it's still fun to get out my reel-to-reel recorder and "reminisce"! Wow, I'm really dating myself! Laughing H
Personally, I wouldn't sell the Dyna. $1000? Don't think I've seen any COB Dyna's selling for that amount. I've got a beautiful 7-line 1966 that might go for a little over $500!

Thanks for sharing! I don't think I'm ready to sell it. I just replaced the head 15 minutes ago! I'm just glad I got share my grandfathers story and I thank everyone for having an interest in it
