1947 Gretsch Finally Cleaned Up
Not a guru just havin fun with some old dusty drums.

Man that kit is stunning!! It is so very classy. You should be extremely proud.
As to the Gretsch logo, you could ask forum member DaddyNowhere to create one. He does great work. This would be a one off for him so it might be expensive, at least in terms of what one would pay for a sticker, but for this kit it would be worth it. There are probably a few others on the forum with older Gretsch kits that might like one as well. He would need a decent scan of the actual artwork.
If he can't help you, check with seller bodo10 on eBay. He dies the same kind of thing and does it well.
Of course, check directly with Gretsch and see if they have something as mentioned earlier.
Lastly, you can have one made. You would need to find a graphic artist, possibly at a print shop, that would convert an image you provide into vector artwork and then have it printed as adhesive, die cut vinyl. Probably the most expensive option, but that is what DaddyNowhere and bodo10 would be doing.
Good luck and, again, congratulations!!

I rarely post on here but have to say that that is one beautiful drum kit.
Thanks everybody!! I would like to find an old Gretsch logo to put on the bass drum. One where the T stretches across the word Gretsch. I think that would look nice. But, can't find one.
I was wondering about those spurs too, but what a drum set!
Lee Ruff from Pennsylvania was selling those logos at the Chicago Drum Show last year for $20. Beautiful set of drums by the way! They just ooze character!
that is a thing of beauty ....wow!
