Stunning! Love the wrap, whats it called? And, isnt it great to get a killer vintage kit that only needs cleaning, which you did a nice job of. Love it, thanks for showing!

Amazing! One question: Why not put the spurs on the front of the bass drum? Am I missing something? Are they supposed to be on the batter side? Either way. Simply stunning kit. Wow!

That's the beauty of hoop mounted spurs, you can put them where you like! Check out pics from the period when these were popular and you'll see that they were used in either location.
Be gentle with themExcited....Just kidding, hit em hard and enjoy. They can take it.
One of a kind awesome! I'm really stunned how gorgeous those are. Congratulations on an amazing and classic kit.

Wow what a beautiful kit, cherrish it.
Stunning... Nicest 40's kit I've ever seen, I love how the wrap has mellowed. How are the Rocket lugs? Still cooperative?
Beautiful!
As for the bass drum head, I know Gretsch made something similar for their Broadkaster reissues a few years ago. Maybe they've got one lying around the warehouse? Could be worth a phone call to the factory.
