I used to have an identical drum (in the mahogany/maple finish of the original drum in question), and sold it last fall. Mine was in similar condition, though the batter head was not original. I did, though, have the original Leedy canvas bag. The market for these drums, unfortunately, is rather limited. I believe I sold mine for $150. I liked the drum, mostly for looks. It didn't sound particularly good as a snare, though it was kind of fun at low tensions as an effects drums. I got rid of it because I was moving, and the thing was big. Mine was stamped 3509/3510, which places it just three months after yours.

that is very cool, for all of these drums falling so close together!! these things are built like a tank. i have plastic heads on mine, and if you tension the gut snare wires tight and really rack up the tension on the heads,it will sing!!!D' DrummerClapping Happy2

Definitely cool about the close dates. The drums that lov2rknrol and I have are both mahogany, with maple re-rings and hoops. We also have the single-tension thumbscrews. I'll post pictures of mine when I get them pulled off my other computer. I recall measuring mine at 11x15, though -- are y'all sure about your sizes?

Well, your drum then is a different size, in addition to being a different shell material and lug design. I suspect lov2rknrol's drum, like mine, is 11x15. I remember now that the original batter was torn when I acquired mine, and that I replaced it with a 15" Earthtone. Luckily, the drums still had a period calfskin Radio King snare-side head. Earthtone doesn't make a 15" snare-side head, so that would have been tough to replace with skin.
