Clear Vistalite heads-clear or black dot?
I usually wind up peeling off the black dots. Clear heads are more open and much preferred when I use them.

21 years is considered vintage, so technically that includes kits from 1995 and older.

I used the DW clamps with the generic gibraltar l-shaped spurs. Worked great.

I had a Keller Vintage shell 14x14 for my 50's 12x8 and 20x14 WFLs and it was as deep sounding as my 16's. They can hold their own.

C&C no question. The Cardwells have a great love for the history and sounds of vintage drums and the drums respect that.

Could be a Ludwig shell on the bass. Could use Gretsch lugs without re drilling
