This is Steve Traversi AKA Dolfan54, I personally like the tone of Jasper vs. Keller. I think that is why I am so drawn to Camco, George Way & Gretsch drums. They all sound a bit different from each other but all share that sound or tone I hear in a Jasper shell. I really liked the tone of the Rogers B&B silver sparkle kit but once I started getting heavily into George Way and Camco drums I no longer needed the Rogers as they just sounded too similar to my 22/12/16 George Way kit. Keep me posted on how you like the kit. To my ears they sound very different than Keller made Rogers. My favorite shell is the 4 ply shell first made by George Way and continued on into the Oaklawn Camco era until mid-60's when Camco switched to a 6 ply shell.
