Condition, with or w/o snare, hardware etc are factors that will determine value..It is possible but details are important.

Looks like it's with the snare from the Cl ad.

A guy here in Portland metro area has been trying to sell a mint

clear fibes with snare for ages, was asking 2400 a few months

ago but finally dropped his asking to 2k.

Your ad looks like is has more pieces too...

Found it!!

looks like a few of the toms are dirty, and missing some hardware, the hardware that is there looks pretty pitted, but if the shells are in good shape I think under 2000.00 would be better.you could get 2 kits out of it.

One of those bass drums has some funny business; a Ludwig mount with maybe an area cut out on it? Strange. The dirty rack tom has incorrect tension rods on it and the dirty floor tom has a Ludwig mount on it. I'd be nervous that there are a few other key parts that will be very expensive/difficult to replace. However, from the looks of it, the price isn't too bad. I have a pristine 5 piece w/ the same snare that's listed here for $1400 and have gotten several bites, but no takers yet. . .

The fibes kit sold here locally went for just a couple of bills. it was a 22 13 16 with matching snare in very good condition. i don't see the market for the kind of money that cl add is asking. i think the guy is WAY off the mark. i wouldn't pay more than 500 for it. i've seen several on ebay and gc and mgr go for skittles. the market is just not there to call for these numbers consistently.

I'm sidin' with the one armed bandit on this one....too many issues, the two "add-ons" missing parts and seriously scratched shells and the fact that Fibes are not moving all that well, in this economy anyway, that just seems high to me. Not that I am a high roller, or even up to snuff on Fibes, but that is just too high for a kit with parts that are missing/ioncorrect. I have seen a kit go cheap here as well, 5 pc, snare went for like 400..?

Matt: The "cut-out" looks like a backing plate to hold the Ludwig tom plate steady.
