The other day I was in Faust Music in Milwaukee. This guy has a ton of vintage kits. A Ludwig clubdate caught my eye, looked like a copper lacquer or maybe a wrap? Did Ludwig have that option?

Yes!! In that pic the color looks a little brighter probably from the sun on it. The store lighting was not that good. Would this be a somewhat rare finish and was the clubdate available in wfl time period?

lucky. yes this is from my WFL clubdate kit, but it's really more gold than copper, think Cadillac gold or les paul goldtop and yes it's fairy rare I've only seen one other tom of this color!

Sure hope it helps, I only have pics of the snare and bass drum this kit has two 9x13" toms and a 16x16" floor tom which has classic lugs!

5x14" snare jazz festival or barrett deems.14x22" bass, (2) 9x13" toms 16x16" floor clipper tom mounts the bass drum is virgin other than the center cymbal mount!
