The cymbal stands have the same base as some four section Rogers stands I own. Was there a common manufacturer of hardware back in the late sixties early seventies in America?

Yes sir there was back in the day. Wahlberg and Auge Inc. was the name, and they made much of the gear to spec for most drum companies and as stencils and put the company name and logo.

Yes, thank-you, that explains it. We never had such a thing here in Britain that I was aware of back in the sixties and seventies. My four section Rogers stands are unusual, are they not: most stands were only three section I thought.
