Sorry, the one I was commenting on is this guys other listing for the supposed Slingerland, it is indeed a Star MIJ...he returned my email and said "yeah, thanks"...in other words...$%&* off... At least that is how I read it, considering he states his family has had the drum for generations...passing it down, don'tchakno

thanks john, yeah I was told this previously, hey has anyone emailed this guy with this fake slingerland??? I like his copy here!!><>< This Slingerland snare drum is beautiful, realy different sparkle effect due to colors used. It measures at 5.5 x 14 in. and packs a punch, was passed down through family and Im sitting on 6 snares rite now and 3 full sets, some things have to go. All original except for heads and snare spring, no rust, minor surface scratches on bottom hoop and wrap is and has been kept in near mint condition, look at the close ups in the pics, not bad for the age. Vintage original case that it came with as seen in pics will also be included, I love those old cases, any questions feel free to ask, I usualy respond within 4 to 6 hours. Thanks and Good Luck!!! some one email him and tell him "NOPE NO Slingerland here pal"!!!

Your drummers not much good is he!? What you need is someone that's as good as me. ! John Henry Bonham !!

I asked the same guy if it was an oval or cloud type Slingerland badge. He came back with cloud badge!!! There are no clear badge pics. This guy is a crook.

Not going to lie there is a part of me that wants to bid on both of these just to drag him through the mud for blatantly lying in his items descriptions.

John is he actually Jazzdrummin? If he is I would like to know if he fixed the strainer on that Gretsch or if it is still broken, as I am interested in the drum. If he hasn't fixed the strainer then he shouldn't list the drum as flawless. I have seen Jazzdrummin post the other thread that has involved the Slingerland sale and I don't think him and the seller are one in the same. Especially since someone else sent the seller a message and asked about the badge and was told it was a Cloud Badge era snare. I don't see Jazzdrummin coming here asking about the snare if he is already telling people on eBay that it is a cloud badge. just my two bits

Well, maybe he really doesn't know and doesn't want to take some strangers word for it. Mind you a guy inquiring about his auction. So, hopefully this is the case, he came here to check the information against the site's take on it to get schooled up on the snare. Just a possibility here, I don't know him or anything like that.

OK, he(Jazzdrummin') PM'd me about the "Sling" he is not the seller, he is indeed seeking info. on this drum.

The seller emailed me after I informed him that the Slingerland is a counterfiet, basically telling to phuck myself. Oh well, some people have zero scruples, and he won't email me a pic oif the badge, either. These people, I even told the seller if he needed confirmation to come here and check to see if he is indeed in posseion of a Sling or MIJ. Some people....
