Great photos! I hope anyone else who may have taken some would submit them. I took several more photos that didn't show up because I must have been clicking away with a full memory card! CryBaby

Wow! As usual, the vintage stuff is more futuristic than the actual new stuff....in my opinion. :)

That light green sparkle Ludwig Super Classic looked gorgeous! I want!

Any Jazzettes there?

Honestly.....I looked through every photo and I didn't see even one Jazzette kit. I did see the beautiful Gretsch bop kit....but no Ludwig. I can't imagine that a Jazzette would have eluded everyone, so I presume there were none.

O-Lugs, I'm not certain but on group 3, pic #39 where there's a line of kits starting with a white '52 Gretch then a Yellow satin flame Gretch, about the fourth bass drum down is what I think may have been a black Jazzette bass drum.

Yeah...mmmmmaybe. It doesn't have the railmount on top, though.

It surprises me there's not even one complete example of a Jazzette -other than the ones that forum members have taken to these kinds of shows over the years. I always look for them, but rarely see them. Out in the real world, that doesn't surprise me as much. But when it comes to drum shows, I would think to see more.

Really enjoyed the pictures, though!

Thanks again!

I wish I had more time to really look at things. I was concerned about the 4 different easy removed strainer parts, especially on the Slingerland DuAll on loan. That was the rarest of the snares we had at the booth.

I never did get to see that Buddy drum. I'm guessing there is more to the "Story" then what they are saying.

TommyP never made it out to the show this year, but he had the tickets and everything. Things happen in life.

if anyone has photos, please zip them and send them to me. I want to beef up that page and see other visitors perspectives and images. Keep them larger if possible and do not size them down. Send them in batches if that is easier. vsd@vintagedrumguide.com
