Try some 12 or 16 strand puresounds. They seem to fit the snare beds better.

better than what? I have 16 strand puresounds on it, i'm actually going to try 20s because i have a spare set.

Better than 20s or 24s. The snare beds are not very wide on these drums. Not like modern drums which have wide beds and use wider snares. This, of course, is just my opinion.
