So, can you tell me a couple of things???
Like what year this was manufactured, and what it might be worth?

It is a 75-79 model and compareable to a 2002 of that era price wise, hope this helps, mark
Sound creation or Sound formula? Looks like a dead ringer for a SF full ride I had .
Also, according to every online source I can find, the cymbals with "Paiste" stamped with the serial number are 1980's and later. The 70's only had the serial#. Here is one reference from the Paiste only website: http://www.paiste-only.com/paistewiki/index.php5?title=Serial_Numbers

yes your right I meant to say sound formula and I said sound creation, brain call died, thanks for the correction, mark
I would also like to point out that I asked if it reads:
PAISTE
114226
therefore dating it 1981.
But in fact it reads:
PAiSTe
114226
The devil is in the details. This cymbal is from 1991. I called a guy looking to buy his "Sound Creation" ride as advertised when he in fact he meant Sound Formula. Easy slip of the lip, but a world of difference in cymbals.
Do you like the sound of this one or are you just looking to flip it?
