Maybe they will slowly put more up as they get to it. Or maybe not having many vintage cymbals and no sound files is part of evolving to the next level.

Wow, I'm gone only a few days and then upon returning find that evolution occurred in my absence.

Although not obvious at a first glance, if you click below where it says "audio", that there's actually sound files posted there.

I don't think it's a good move. I used to enjoy dropping down the Used Sets tab to see inventory. Another thing I thought; some many things in the store were on Consignment and how that factors in... But..I sent a note... the old way will be missed...and he's just another Reverb seller to me now.

There is an ugly ass cymbal on the site, it won't let me show it. if that's MINT, and what to expect from that process,...they border on criminal. It's horrid! Does he do sound files ?

Keep in mind Maxwell's online cymbal inventory was not 100% complete. The 22" trans stamp my son picked up at the New York store and the other 22" trans he listened to were both on consignment and were not listed online. That suggests that perhaps only the cymbals the shop actually owned were listed, and it's not clear if that includes all of them. It's also not clear what percentage of his best vintage cymbals are on consignment. What's you experience or understanding about that?

I think they just keep the gems in the store without advertising them because they figure that a walk in customer will probably buy it quickly enough. Then others then go online. But this is just me surmising, and not necessarily anything demonstrably correct.
