Wanted: Trixon Speedfire Last viewed: 2 days ago

Anyone out there have a Trixon Speedfire kit they'd like to sell?

I'd even be interested in just acquiring the ever-so-elusive Trixon Speedfire bass drum.

Also known as the Vox Jetfire, these kits have the "egg shaped / melted" bass drums and look like this:

These were first manufactured in Germany in the 50's and are about as common as a vegetarian at a White Castle drive-thru ;)

Thanks,

Mark

There was one on Ebay about a month ago, haven't seen anything like that in my neck of the woods.

Its better to have people think you're an idiot, than to open your mouth and prove them wrong, unless you doubt yourself then speak away....

Hello Mark,

I know your post is pretty old by now, did you ever find that Speedfire you were looking for? I have a set for sale and is in very rare condition.

Thank you,

David

Hi everyone,

Thanks for your help / suggestions.

I'm actually not in the market for this kit anymore.

Wish I could delete this post, but I don't know how!
