I wish, but seems unlikely, don't know any local guys with mod orange sets that they might sell at some point. I do have an Element SE in Mod Orange, that'll probably have to do.

Nope, I had to add $10 out of pocket to the bonus to be able to buy these. When the previous owner was describing the set and justifying the price he mentioned that the matching snare was worth a lot by itself and my heart skipped a beat. I assumed he was saying that he had the matching snare but it turned out he just meant that IF HE DID it would be worth a lot. I guess he tried to get a matching snare when he bought the set but ended up with a Supra. I wish he had tried a bit harder.

Clear 3-ply maple shells... you scored a great looking/sounding kit. Doesn't matter what you paid for it. You can't buy the good feeling you have from having them to yourself to play whenever you want to. Can't put a price on that my brother. Enjoy your new toy.

John

Too many great drums to list here!

Seems fitting as I did spend an inordinate amount of time staring at this picture when I was in Junior High back before I finally got my own Hollywood set (Chrome-O-Wood) in 1975.

Wow, looking at the first pic. you couldn`t tell that`s the same drum. There`s still lots of purple and very little white.

Thats a good thing !
