My Slingerland Cutaway Super Trap Set Last viewed: 10 hours ago

Finally have it all together, the drum kit I dreamed of in 1979 with a few modern twists.

All vintage A Zildjians and a Slingerland Spirit snare to go with the Sonor kick and floor tom. 10", 12" 14" 16" cutaways, tuned low.

Going for a Billy Cobham sound, so far, so good !!

Clever the way they cut those shells...

They would obviously make 2 toms from each single conventionally formed shell...

I assembled this kit from old marching toms, the hole is from the carrier that once housed the 14" as part of a triple set. LoLoLoLo

I love the sound of single head no matter they are pretty, ugly or pretty ugly !! Always liked parade drums.

I`m not big on modern SONOR, Is that a S-Classix or Force series BD ?
