Took Her Out On Saturday Last viewed: 2 minutes ago

Here she is... this was the first time I got to take her out to play and it sounded wonderful. That's a stop sign badge with "That Great Gretsch Sound" and the snare drum is a 64 W&A.

From the player's perspective left to right we have 16 in k istanbul high hats from the late 1940s then a 20in k Istanbul ride from the 1950s on the left side and then a 20in k istanbul ride from the 1960s on the main spot

Looks great but it is hard to see details. Could you attach a higher resolution image?

Interesting cymbal choices. 16" HH's? Really? And two 20"s. What kind of music are you playing?

Thanks for sharing, but yes, more photos and close-ups!

The problem is I can only put a certain size of picture on here. I guess every time I try to make it smaller it shrinks it... we play everything I generally play with blues and jazz groups with this setup.... kind of had some rock mixed into it but very tasteful those 16-inch hats are thin but they shine through beautifully I guess the pitch just cuts to the music more than the volume.. i will post some samples when i can... it was recorded.

As far as my choice of cymbals my Main ride is pretty low and then the left side ride is a full step higher or whatever terminology want to use ..... and then my top hat sonically matches the main ride and my bottom hat sonically matches the left side ride... has a good spread. peanut butter jelly together
