Is it a solid shell,? But at 400 thats close to what the 3 point strainer and brackets would cost you.

The owner said it's a 1ply shell with rings. The shell and edges are good, the only real issues are cosmetic.

Single ply maple. $400 is a great deal. With proper clean/wax will look fine. Mint Duco at least twice that. Out of drum funds. grrr.....
