Yep, thanks for that John...looks like this Tromsa may be from 1958, but not sure....think there are a couple of Tromsa experts on here...Calfskin and Christian B aswell as many others I think...

Cannot see this unusual wrap on the Tromsa page....maybe I missed it/////

I once read on here from Henk that Tromsa, Trowa, Roxy, got wraps from SONOR`s supply and when they couldn`t,...used Kitchen countertop laminate. About this timeframe too.

It`s a drum,.....Hit It !!

Yep similar mate....but has the redish swirls in it and not a foil type wrap...but really unusual like you said
