Once you get those cleaned up nice Manny, you need to start looking for a proper trunk to transport them in.
Those are some cool wheels for sure!!

Been busy with family, work and running a booth this weekend. Anyway waiting on some parts and deciding on heads for the Caddy Green.

I note the presence of a missing set of Ludwig standards.
Very nice..Definitely the classiest finish ever produced by Gretsch..Congrats on such a superb find !
Dan,
I sold a couple kits (Standard and other Prog. Jazz) last week. Usually move stuff only lately when I am after something else. Seems like the best drumsets are the one we just sold or bought :-)

Manny - I've already congratulated you above on this beautiful find. I will add here that I probably will never have the opportunity to acquire such a treasure. But, I do have one original 9x13 Gretsch Cadillac Green drum. You may remember I won it on eBay a few years ago.......cost me a pretty penny. Most comments before the auction was over was that the gold look like it was 'out of a rattle can'. When I got the drum it was indeed gold paint on the hardware. I carefully removed the gold paint to find the original gold plated hardware ;) . I'm happy to own just this small part of Gretsch Cadi Green history. I can only imagine the joy your drums are bringing you now. Cheers Manny !
This is my drum.............sitting in with my late 50's Gold Sparkle Gretsch......Gold n Green go nicely together IMHO.
Nice gold set Kona. With a set like that I would miss the green too much.
