Ludwig brass snare with offset lugs ?

I can safely say that i've never seen a Ludwig snare like this one before.

Brass shell with offset mini classic lugs. Looks like the throw-off has been replaced which makes me think

it's a modification drum, but badge looks to be in tact and not tampered with..

Decent price too..What do you guys think ?

Its a modified/converted timbale. If you look close, the bottom bearing edge is round and there is no snare bed.

You are correct..Modified timbale.. I didn't even think of that DOH.

Now it seems overpriced after that bit of info. Thanks for clearing that up ;)

When it does that it means the sale has ended and the item is sold..

But it really was a timbale that was modified.. I'm sure it sounded interesting but definitely not worth what seller was asking, at least not around here..
