Does anyone know who made this stool?
It's not marked that I can see.
It may have had a backrest at one point.
It was with a WFL kit that was sold to a semi local shop recently.
Any thoughts? :D

This was the typical throne of the 60's. I wouldn't be surprised if it was built by W&A.

I think it is a Slingerland, I have one that was with my old 73 set,
the support and seat look a lot like mine. The Slingerland sticker was on the bottom leg.

It's the Slingerland Rocket throne model # 838.
Yes, I did recognize this as the Rocket Throne #838, but did Slingerland manufacture it themselves, or outsource it to a company such as W&A?

Also known as another brand of the "Suicide Throne"...

I had one as a teen back in the mid '60s. It certainly was much more compact than today's thrones, but it was also a small and hard seat. Even my then skinny butt was pretty uncomfortable after a three hour gig or rehearsal.
Thanks guys,
The main reason I grabbed it was for my suitcase kit.
Not only is it more compact that the one I have been using but the material matches my Samsonite perfectly. LoLoLoLo
Plus it's a cool vintage stool.
