If it's just the 3 drums...1 Tom arm, legs,$900 is steep...

$600 with it missing the T's is closer to reality.

But here comes the "O M G" it's worth $1200 if you scrap dwn the parts to sell..lol

I thought with it being a Cleveland era, it would be worth more, even with the missing t-rods.

Knobby mount on the bd, not original. That is a cast Fullerton mount. Maybe 50.00

At lest one knobby mount on the floor tom is a cast Fullerton.... another 50.00

Buy a set of three for about 100.00 Sell the two that are incorrect and re-coup the money

Zero outlay on the correction.

Top hoop on the floor. 50.00

16 bow tie T-rods... up to 150 for those. You cant get that back unless you flip.

1200 would be reasonable if there is no other monkey business.

600-700 is about right. Numbers on the badges could make it worth the 700.00

How do Fulleton mounts get on a Cleveland era kit? Did people just switch those out and if so, why? I guess I'll pass, the seller won't go lower than $900, I thought Cleveland era drums were the ones to have.

They ARE the drums to have. Offer $700 and he may get back to you. My motto is "Easier to buy than sell." It's a tough market out there right now.

Cleveland or Dayton Flat Gray. And a mix of both is also original. They are the sweet spot. They are the drums to have. On the knobby bd mount... There is a good possibility that shouldn't be a knobby. Possibly it should be a collet mount for a telescoping cymbal arm. And the focus vanishes at the point where the bd tom receiver collet tensioner is seen, I think that is a fullerton cast tensioner. (another 50). The seller ... if he is claiming these are original, doesn't know much about Rogers, or he is misrepresenting the drums. I also believe the BD spur tensioner is a cast fullerton. The BD could possibly be speckled gray Fullerton. In which case, the drums are not being properly represented, and the price is unreasonable. Pictures of interiors and badges are required.

The wrong stuff often ends up on drums "out of era." Mostly because people do not know the history of drums. To someone who does not know, they all look alike.

To someone who knows, they are a great big Red Flag.

The seller said he would do $800 and all the tags say Cleveland, he said it is not a mis-matched kit.

Mounts could have been added or changed out during the past. Parts get misplaced over time and replacement parts from different era will fit. Could be how cast collets came to be used. Check the interior around the screw holes for tear out, which would indicate a non-factory addition.
