On this , my relaxing Sunday off, i was browsing Ludwig's website and noticed something that shouldn't happen with any major drum manufacturer, especially one as established as Ludwig . Going through their series galleries, i noticed MANY typos in the description of the actual drum kits in the gallery pics.. Here are a few of the typos i'm talking about..

I think Ludwig should really address this to their editors and website designers.. Pretty embarrassing if you ask me..

Click on the LGC gallery and then look at the descriptions in the pics..Hmmmm

Hmm...maybe my eyes, and grammar, are just bad! What I see in some of the descriptions is where they give the name of the veneer and say "over Poly-Glass lacquer finish". Is that what you're referring to?

As far as typo's from other drum companies, I've seen it quite a bit! I have many 60's and 70's Slingerland catalogs and found a good one describing the GK 1N kit in the 1973 catalog. I was going to scan mine, but find it easier to include the link to that page from the "vintagedrumguide" section. Read the description and pay close attention to the bass drum pedal description. Now, if that wasn't an embarrassment to Slingerland, I don't know what was!

The Speed-King???

Yep...the Speed King!!! Anyone working for Slingerland would have known it was the Tempo King, so how could this typo get by unnoticed?! It's like they are saying "when you buy our Gene Krupa 1N kit, we'll include Ludwig's Speed King pedal!!"

Ha ha, Speed King. Yes, oops is the word.

As for the original posting about the Ludwig site, I seem to be in the same boat as idrum4fun - my eyes and grammar must be going. All I spotted was the word "Jazette" spelled like that with the one Z. Twice. Everything else looked okay to me...

Likely glozz is a typo, but shampayne is actually how Ludwig spells it.
