Fds? Last viewed: 8 seconds ago

So, the "spring cleaning" continues and, next to an old Slingerland Epic hi-hat stand of mine, I noticed another "oldie" that's got "FDS CHICAGO, IL" stamped into the footboard. Can any of you tell me what "FDS" stands for?

Thanks in advance for your time and your help.

Thanks, Mike! I just checked the underside of the footboard and, sure enough, "WAMCO" was stamped on it.

Just as a sidebar, not to go off-topic, but how is "Auge" pronounced? I would say "Org". That's what leaps to mind first, as I've never heard anyone actually say it, I've only ever read about Walberg and Auge.

I believe it's supposed to be pronounced like "ozay"

I have one of those WAMCO FDS high hat stands, as well. Thanks for identifying the "FDS"! Never occurred to me.

LoLoLoLo I hear you!

Thanks for that. Orj or Org, depending on what country you live in. Interesting site there, thanks!

Hmmm, posh! Well, they made some quality high-end gear, so I'd make it sound fancy too... Thanks K.O!
