Looks like they had more than one version. The one in the photo with the "beaver tail" lugs would most likely be the earlier version. Note the very "Kent-like" handle. Same as the ones used on the first Kent strainers. I think these unusual looking strainers were called "DeLuxe".

Awesome I was able to find a photo of it with the butt plate. I am missing a threaded piece along the bottom.

That is a Deluxe Kent strainer . Good luck on finding the butt and Snare wires to go with that . I love those strainers btw and have one on one of my snare drums .
Awesome, yea i'd love to find the right butt for it. If I can't maybe I can fashion one myself. How does it mount to the snare shell?

I would say that you may find the butt before you find a set of snare wires for it . These take a set of wires that are specific of the strainer .
Might go hand in hand with my wanting to make custom wires as needed for snares. Here is another one that fits the bill then. Any idea what the snares look like?

I am in the process of taking some pics right now for you .
Not sure why but now the upload keeps failing when trying to upload the pics of the who assembly . I can email them if you like though
There is a nut that goes on the screw at the top and then a screw into the hole below that . Here is a pic ..
I was wondering if the inside had a nut set-up similar to the Slingerland Super Strainer. And yes please do. Archxangel@gmail.com
