Complete 60's Ludwig Rail Mount.
It's the toothed version, and that came in during the later 1960s. Rob Cook (The Ludwig Book, p216) actually says circa 1965 although I thought it was a bit later in the 1960s. But I'll take Rob's word for it.
It's got the script (60s) version of the logo. I've got one of these toothed ones on my kit and the line underneath does go all the way across (70s style logo). So I'd say that one is earlier than mine. The serial numbers on my kit are in the 760xxx range which put it on the cusp of 1969/1970. But alas I haven't got date stamps to get a second opinion about before or after Dec 31st 1969.
Yes, these have the teeth setup like the 70's, but the script logo puts it in the late 60's. I've seen these on 68-69 drums that I know of. These are nice and solid mounted rails.

This one certainly is. Everything tightens up and remains tight.
