That's a pretty rough Supra, Ludalloy shell. The current bid is the highest I'd go. It's pretty bad.

Thanks All,

Supra, no doubt, but I agree with the other forum members - that pitting is pretty bad, and rust on the strainer - not good! I'd hang out for something in better condition if I were you.
If you're in the market for one may I suggest waiting a little and contacting forum member mlayton (Mike Layton). He's a frequent seller of well cared for supraphonics and acrolites for a reasonable price here. Details them, etc. Highly recommended by many. Good luck.
Thanks, I'll consider contacting him.

Thanks for the kind words Larry. Seems like I have been selling a lot of both Acrolites and Supras lately. Shipped a Supra out today in fact and working on an Acro right now. Time for a wood drum or two!
Mike
The supraphonic is up to $93 with a day and a half left.
It's certainly NOT brass. It's your typical 60's Keystone badge with serial number, "Lud-Alloy" shell Supra-Phonic with a lot of chrome pitting. I already have it in my watch list on eBay, but I'm backing away from it. When they're in this condition I don't like to pay too much for them.
Just my opinion- if you're wanting a 60s Supra this might be a good candidate, especially since it has a case.
Check out the sold supras on ebay. They normally sell for $175-$200 in the same condition. I sold one in worse shape for $200 shipped on reverb and it was only listed for 4 days. Collector's condition supras go for $275 to $420 from what I've seen.
Bleach, soap and some chrome polish will do wonders for that drum.

It will surely sell for more than $90. Great one to bid on as a lot of people will prefer a cleaner Supraphonic. I once had a B/O badge Supra that left me picking metal splitters out of my hands. I try to avoid them when their pitted like this.
