A friend in Houston offered me one of these two kits for my Rogers. The first is a newer Tama birch burbinga with a 10, 12, 16, 22. The second one really got my attention, it's a professionally re-wrapped Ludwig 13 and a Slingerland 16 and 20, all 3 ply with rings. There is also a Legend snare wrapped in the same finish. I know it wouldn't be a big collectable kit, but it looks so cool and I like the sizes. I love my Rogers, but what the heck, with the R-360 floor, they're not collectable either.

Agree with Jeff too. I would wait for something better.
Not a guru just havin fun with some old dusty drums.

I find these thread a bit funny since I am trading my 1990's Tama Starclassic Performer Birch for a 1970's Rogers Big R.
But I'd hold out for a little. The newer Starclassics in my opinion aren't as good as the older ones. Maybe It's just me, but having played ones made in japan, Vs the newer ones made in China, there is something missing.
And while the mix match kit looks cool, I personally like my kits uniform as far as maker.
Not a Guru, just addicted to drums

I'm worst than a gal and her clothes? At the moment, I have one kit, two snares, three cymbals and one pair of hats. I think you have me mistaken for one of the hoarders. HAPPY NEW YEAR!Party
I've decided not to trade, instead, I'm going on a quest for a Cleveland, Dayton or Fulleton era matching floor tom.

The gal can't decide what to wear. Rims is a very nice guy. Collectors aren't hoarders. Happy New year!
