Burgundy Sparkles round badge Gretsch Last viewed: 2 minutes ago

The best kit I have played, and I have played a good dozen gretsch's.

Here is a rare burgundy sparkles 12-16-20 60' round badge set.

it's close from a collector grade set.

The set has been lightly played, the edges are good, it sounds amazing.

Slight pitting, the drums are clean inside, the wrap seams are tight.

I have tried several Grestch sets and this is by far my favorite. Gretsch's are the only sets that has that sound.

Everything is original.

The wrap of the front drum hoops is deglued as you can see from the pictures.

Some of the vintage kits you find have been played a lot, and that changes their sound, the edges become dull, the wood has seen a lot of work. They sound different, duller, boomy and with a unsteady sustain than the same model that has been slightly played.

This kit has been lightly played. It sound sharp, full, present, the attack is Gretsch fast, the decay is steady. Gretsch's take tuning well and this kit takes tuning better than any other kit I have played.

The wrap seems like the set is just out of the factory, people think it's a rewrap until they see closely it's original, a good sign of the kit sounding good..

I have played many 60's Gretsch's and this one is the best sounding kit I have heard.

Paper tags inside, mufflers and close serial numbers.

Many people asking to sell it.

Asking 4500 for the rare color and the condition.

This is a record/ live ready set, unlike some other Gretsch I played.

Offers considered.

The pictures have trouble uploading.

I have no doubt you are offering a fine vintage Gretsch kit. It's very difficult to sell a kit like this without large, clear pictures. I never have an issue with uploading. How are you attempting to do this? For myself, I use a "real" camera, set to 1600x1200. I then use a program called "Caesium" to reduce the size to the maximun allowed by VDF, in addition to also reducing the file size to around 140kb or smaller, with no real loss in visual quality.

For myself, I find it difficult to pay $$$ for items that don't have comparable photos. Hope you are able to figure all this out and sell your great kit!

You don't need any other app on a Mac, just iPhoto. Just export at a lower quality, they work perfectly on this forum and all others. Really couldn't get easier.
