picture upload question Last viewed: 4 seconds ago

I can't seem to upload pictures to a thread I'm trying to start. The pictures have been uploaded to other sites with no problem, they aren't too large, prompt says upload failed. Any ideas to what I'm doing wrong?

Boscoe!

Unfortunately, other sites do not share our pic protocol or parameters! With that said, are you using the MANAGE ATTACHMENTS button? That's the one you want, and if your files are too large .. ( although we recently increased the allowable size ) .. you will not be able to upload. Please DO NOT try to embed your pic files within the text box though using a cut and paste for example, as that creates problems for us and the thread. Try the MANAGE ATTACHMENTS feature if you have not already and see if that does it!

Thanks Tommy, I'm using the "manage attachment", it allows me to select the image from my computer, (121 kb) it says it has downloaded the picture, but after the prompt says "waiting on drumforum" it says upload failed. The pics are phone photos loaded into laptop and uploaded from there. What should I do now?

Check the file-type your phone is using against the types allowable on the site. If it's not one of them, import to a picture edit program and convert.

That's one idea anyway...:)

... and it's an excellent idea too Mitch, as I was going to say the same! That has happened in the past as there are so many different file types today. Have a look at that Boscoe... see if that does it!
