Vintage Gretsch Broadkaster or "Rocket" lugs

Loading...

Hello, I have a bunch of vintage Gretsch lugs from a 40's or 50's bass drum or floor tom. My research indicates that they are either a broadkaster type lug or a "rocket" lug. Can anyone confirm this. I really have no use for them other than to find out some more history and put them up on Ebay. Does anyone know anything about these? I've seen some snares with the same lugs describes as a "super structure" Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Rodney

Hi Rodney!

I could use 16 of the Rocket Lugs (1st picture)

Can you please measure the space between

the mounting holes?

Thanks

Rodney - I could use some of these lugs.....if you have any left after the sveinosound order.

Very cool!! My (early 1930's) Walburg and Auge has the Gretsch Rocket lugs... and Bass Drum tone control.

Interesting how the 2 companies collaborated.
