After watching Ringo get induced, as Paul put it, into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, I thought this would make a great time to show your favorite Ringo moments.

Cool clips. I don't see any mics on the drums in either one, which reminds me - the amps were introduced to bring bass and guitar up to drum sound levels, no? I could be wrong.

Anyway the relevance is, I have yet to work with a single guitarist who will voluntarily turn their amp TF down, always gotta ask. These are guys who are drowning out their own vocals in the process....oh well, I blame The Who and specifically Townshend, with all those trips to the Marshall factory...:)

Ringo - four on the floor, heel-up, shakin the drum riser, yup!

I've only seen Ringo once but, during his performance, he proved himself to be a rock steady drummer and a very classy gentleman. Sheila E. was also with him. When she played, Ringo was all smiles. He seemed happy to be a part of the groove. He is a legend and a real star!

Brian

Just a drummer who loves all things about vintage drums! Nothing more, nothing less.

Mitch first off Jim Marshall is a drummer. amps were the mother of invention for jazz guitarist to be heard in a big jazz band setting.
