The stampings aren't huge. And sometimes can be hard to spot on a dirty cymbal.

I was able to snap a few more pictures of the snare drum this weekend. Someone told me this may be an important/valuable piece.

your radio king snare drum is dated from 1948 to 1950 . I would ask $2000.00 for the kit. no less.

Thank you so much for you feedback. I would really like to find someone who wants to buy them, but is willing to pick them up because I am afraid of shipping damage and everything. Do you think this is realistic? Is this set something that people are going to want bad enough to come for them? I am also really concerned that they go to a good home since they do have some sentimental value.

you can have a UPS Store pack and ship them for you it isn't cheap but the are well packed and insured for full value, I really don't like have random folks coming to my house due to nuts out and about now, Something to think about. But you have a very desirable kit here.

Also your snare drum is the Hollywood ace radio king it is a solid maple shell model. This is a very desirable model. Here is a scan for you to look at, http://www.vintagedrumguide.com/images/catalogs/slingerland/1951_catalog_large.jpg
