Yes, I heard the sad news. The world has lost a legend and will be missed. But...B.B. left us with his great music that will last a lifetime!

More than just a lifetime. Like Bach and Beethoven now, people will be listening to Hendrix and BB 500 years from now. The 'Classical music' of the 20th century.

All three Kings are gone now... BB, Freddie and Albert. R.I.P.

I have the blues today...Another legend is now gone...His memory will always live on through his music...

I seen Blues Boy King on his 75th birthday with Buddy Guy co-headlining...A show I will never forget...

Yes as you guys said another legend gone. But 89 years is amazing for anybody, especially having had a lifetime of being a musician. Thank you for the music B.B. and god rest your soul.

Brother, you had to see and hear him when he played the small clubs in New York. At the Village Gate I used to reserve one of the front tables and I got to sit 8 - 10 feet away from him as he played. I've been hit by BB sweat! Those small, intimate settings were the best way to experience him. Buddy Guy too used to play all those small clubs. You would have loved living in New York just for the music.

Plenty of work for serious musicians too!

Was sad to hear the news this morning of his passing. A true Blues Legend!

I saw B.B. several times over the years.

I have the Clapton Crossroads Festivals from 2007 and 2010 on my DVR. He's on both, will be watching them tonight for sure!

I had the great fortune of seeing him 5 times at a bar called PB Scotts it was a solid wood geodesic dome the sound quality was world class and small crowd wise, I got to go on his bus with him for about 45 minutes, The man was the real deal.

That is something to remember! I saw him in about 2002 at Mardi Gras in Galveston, TX. The band I played then was on the bill that day. I wouldn't go as far to say we "opened" for BB but hey, we played a time slot before him, on a stage not too far away!! LoLoLoLo

In all seriousness, Rest easy BB and thanks for the music and influence that you had on a slew of musicians! I'm so glad that I got to see him perform.

real sad to read the news last night. its really sucks.

i've been a fan since i was a kid. i remember borrowing my friend's tape "live at cook county jail" (via his dad)

i hope the music business puts on a tribute show for him, as well as percy sledge and ben e. king.
