Mine is original, but gold plated. It is in very good condition, but the gold is wearing, and I think that it might be gold plated over chrome, as the gold plating is wearing and it is clearly not nickel underneath, but definitely chrome.

Here they are. I like to trade...I'm into Gretsch stuff for trade material, or something interesting of similar value. I'd love to get a get a 3-ply shell for it. I've had many successful trades on this site.
