I missed it today sadly. Had a simple household repair go really really wrong! Like termite damage in the hardwood floor and sub floor wrong!! So I'm pretty bummed. I see Daniel Glass was there? And Bernard Purdie doing a book signing?? And Mr Ludwig was there too? So how was it fellas?? Clinic guys good? Any good deals there this year? I was looking forward to checking out Joe M's booth for some new things he's doing. And needed to score some parts for my Rogers project. Bet it was a good one this year.

Do tell please!! Any pictures or vids would be cool too.

Buddy - How much more of your floor joists can Termites eat in just one more day? After discovering the damage, if it was me... I would have covered the f'king hole with a sheet of plastic, downed a beer, burn down a doobie and I'd be out the door and gone to the drum show. The "problems" will all be there waiting for you tomorrow. You should have gone to the show!

As a fellow home-owner, I feel your pain. Welcome to the real-life Money-Pit! Hope you get it resolved without too much damage.

Sucks!

There is an upside, google Formosan Termites and be HAPPY you live in the Northeast where they don't. They are ten times worse!

Surrounded by drummers here! (I am a guitarist.)

Glen, I'm sorry you had to miss the show. I think you should make the trip to the Chicago show, I tell ya what, I will pay for a room for the two of us if you want. I am looking forward to meeting some new people this year, you should be one of them!

But if that don't work, please pm me with a list of parts that you need and I will do my best to score them.

Thank you!

Great minds think alike! LOL

Glenn - I've been hemming and hawing about going to Chicago this year, not decided yet. If I do go, drive yourself to my place in Reading (about a third of the distance of the total trip for you) and we can split driving duties for the rest of the way. I just bought a late model Subaru Forester and I'm itching to put some 'road miles' on it. Let me think about it a bit. If I decide to go, we can share the driving work.
