DW first product, the Canister Throne from the 70's

Loading...

Up for bids is a early 70's canister throne from DW.

Very handy for storing and transporting your hardware and sit very low or vey high.

Could use some new foam (but still sits very nice) and a one new locking strap.

Small nick in the tolex under the seat area (not visible when in use)

This is a hard to get piece and very handy too.

Located in Diemen (Amsterdam) The Netherlands.

Best wishes,

Wes.

Thank you for shouting that to me :)

I can't find that rule in the start up post with rules of selling?

Its so rare I put it up for bids, because I have no reference material (older ebay sales or anything on google at all) which can give me an estimate starting point :(

Tommy, I think it's general knowledge of us long time members, but the sticky doesn't say anything about a price......:)

Its better to have people think you're an idiot, than to open your mouth and prove them wrong, unless you doubt yourself then speak away....

And really. If I knew, I would have put it there right of course, but I couldn't find it in the start up post.

well, the first thing to do would be to ask about value from a learned expert here ,then based on that you can put it up for sale. then put it out there (price) if some one wants it they will let you know enjoy the site good luck,we have to follow the rules this is not e-bay ...to be honest I really don't see it as rare but then that's me maybe 75 to 150 see if others chime in but its not camco or ludwig sorry

musiqman/BBK!

Wasn't SHOUTING!!!! No, seriously... just that I have said this so many times. I was 'jes tryin' to get the point across. Nothing derogatory meant or implied! Now, with that said:

There was at one time.. ( but it appears to be gone ) .. a little STICKY stating that a price must accompany a FOR SALE item. Let me see what I can do about reinstating same. In the interim though, I always thought it odd to want to sell an item... but put in no price! The two just don't really fit! If one doesn't KNOW what to ask for said item, well... not enough research was done to properly sell the item, no? So probably best to not offer the item 'till one has a concrete idea as to how much to ask!... is all I'm sayin'.

Tommyp

PS: The addition to the SELLING RULES has been made. THANKS to both of you for pointing out that it was MIA!

To the OP...

I think you have two options here:

1. List your price and take offers.

2. List this as a no-reserve auction starting at 99 cents somewhere else and let the market decide.
