Stef,Being the Camco-loving guy you are, I knew you would appreciate this! You called it out last year and I finally found the proof! I'm sure there are more of these mounts out there, but yet to see another. I feel special.

Back in March/April last year, when we were discussing this, a leedy turret mount popped up on Ebay. I haven't seen another one,...

Didn't want to sound harsh on DW guys, Really. But that's what Ive seen and experienced in more than 30 years around drums. Everybody loves the turret lug. Who doesn't? The GHW and Camco heritage right there. Who could deny the amazing design of the lug. The other part of my statement "the sound is nothing spectacular" is because they just don't sound spectacular TO ME. If they do for someone else more power to them. I wasn't expecting to hurt sensibilities. If I did please accept my humbles apologies. (BUT PLAY LUDWIG INSTEAD!Laughing H)

Funny you should mention everybody loves the turret lugs. because i have read and heard many say they're put off by them. Again despite the sound of the drums. I think I've read it somewhere on this very site, and I remember thinking "but don't you know they're the legendary Camco lugs! Philistine!". Hey anyway Vintage Drum Bug that aside, you have a shop in L.A? Or are you a web based dealer? I'll happily make my way to North Hollywood to bathe in Vintage drum glory.

Oh and I play Ludwig too! Laughing H

Yeah, I remember funny posts back in the day when people thought Camco "copied" the DW lugs! Im in North Hollywood 91606. I got some stuff on Ebay and I used to have a website but I was selling too much of my stuff so I stopped doing that. I have most of my inventory on storage nowbecause 60 drums sets just don't fit on my garage! Unless I have' em cased nested on each other. I have a logistic problem. I know…I still have like 15 sets at home and many parts and hardware and lots of fun stuff…Let me know when you want to stop by and Ill be waiting for you with some great tea. (Sorry, I don't do coffee…)
