Three events have finally convinced me to let go of some of my vintage drum sets. A year and a half ago, we sold our large house to move to the proverbial cozy cottage for two retired people. My mother will be 100 years old in June, and we're planning a party where she resides 1200 miles from where we are. Our son will be married in July at a high zoot four day affair at the Wynn in Las Vegas. Our new cottage has less space for my drums than our large house did. The bride and her parents wanted the big fancy wedding which is fine with us. But, even though they will be paying for most of the festivities, there are still a lot of costs to be paid by the groom's parents in addition to travel and lodging. There will be considerable expenses for the party, lodging, and travel for my mother's birthday event.
All things considered, these are all once-in-a-lifetime events that are much much more important to me than a few vintage drum sets that could be sold to help fund the upcoming celebrations. I'm going to list these three drum sets, and ask people who are interested to contact me with the messaging function in our forum. The first two sets are similar to others I own. The Fibes set is at the upper size limit of my comfort zone. Please contact me so that we can talk about these great vintage drum sets.
